Dadaji petted the tiger! .

- Arranged cages everywhere, prepared pits, built traps!

And look at his face when caught...

- Hey grandpa, this tiger made a big roar. Sheep, goats, cows, buffaloes are fine but they have become cannibals. Four men were picked up from the village.

- Once a man first takes up the shield of faith, then unbelief cannot penetrate him. Even a sharp knife has no strength to penetrate the layer of faith! Trust is the trust of trust.

- Do not believe any proverbs of wild animals!

- Remember, a tiger is always hungry.

A Name of my tiger : Yama. He was a very small cub when Dadaji brought him from the forest. was buried under the plantain trees. His mother must have abandoned him or his mother must have died! This very small mistake was buried deep. Good that Dadaji noticed. Otherwise some wolf, jackal or deer would have killed him.

Dadaji had a job in the forest department. They were not hunters, but custodians of the forest. Thieves steal from the forest and catch animals like tigers, wolves, jackals, gazelles and sell them, wild animals are sold alive or dead at high prices. There is also an underground business of hunting elephants and selling ivory.

During one such raid, Dadaji found this tiger, and it was very dry and kind. Grandmother named him Yama. They say: Today it is wood, but when Jojo grows up, it will become real Yama.

Our headquarters was in Dehradun. This delicate little cub of ours got stuck in our bamboo abode. He roamed anywhere in the house but his special place was on the sofa in the living room. If someone wants to come and sit, sit next to him, otherwise Yama should not get up and wake him up. Yama does not like anyone outside the house.

This tiger was a friend of the children of the house. He enjoyed playing with me. When I would take him to the market, people would laugh at him, but Yamaraja had not yet developed Yama-vritti.

Let it stay with our cooking butter. Sleep in a bed of butter. Dadi says: Sometime we have to find the butter, from Yama's stomach itself.

After growing up a bit, Vaghjibhai started showing himself. Sometimes he gives a peek. If he is lying on his feet, lick his ankle or play with his teeth. Have to pull the leg.

He was my grandmother's favorite. But the grandmother says: Now put him back in the forest. He does not like to be tied and does not eat milk-cream-bananas-bread-bakhri.

He was still six-one months old, with us. Dadaji says: Let's put it in the zoo.

The nearest zoo was in Lucknow. Buses miles away. Dadaji used to go and come. At once Dadaji reached Lucknow taking Yemen with him in the first class.

Zoo officials were overjoyed to get such a ready, intelligent domesticated tiger.

Yama's fame increased while coming in the train. Lucknow Zoo came to be known by the name of Yama itself. Crowds of people started coming to see the real Yama. His news kept appearing in the press.

Dadaji remained engaged in his work for a long time. After a year or so he had to go to Lucknow again.

Did Dadaji live without meeting Yama? As soon as he finished his government work, Dadaji reached the zoo.

He rushed to the cage in which he was duly placed. An employee had just left with food and drinks. Dadaji asked him: Yama is not doing any mischief, is he? Has anyone been bothered?

The employee did not understand anything. He turned his hand upside down and went to serve the other cages.

Dadaji put his hand in the cage and called the tiger. By his name and with a roar, the tiger came closer to the rod. Dadaji turned his hand over the tiger's head with full confidence. He patted her under the ear. Started talking to him: Why Yamaraja, do you remember your childhood? Grandma, boys, butter...?

What are you doing? Another caretaker came running to Dadaji. Dadaji recognized him. This was the cage when they came to put Yama here.

Dadaji says: Oh! Are you the same? Recognize me or not? I left this tiger here last year, remember?

Pinjario says with surprise and amusement: Yes, Dadaji, I remember, I remember exactly, but...

but what? Dadaji asked. His hand was pulled away by the keeper. He says: But Dadaji, this is not your tiger...

Isn't this... yum?

Yes and no

what is that?

There is real Yama, so yes. And your yam is not so no your tiger got pneumonia three months ago and died. This has since been completed. Do you know about this?

No, anything to know?

Hey grandpa, this tiger made a big noise. Sheep, goats, cows, buffaloes are fine but they have become cannibals. Four men were picked up from the village.

Hey....!

Hey Dadaji, we were out of breath when we caught it. Arranged cages everywhere, prepared pits, built traps! And look at his face when caught...

The hand with which Dadaji caressed this real Yamaraj. He started to caress that hand.
