Pain dissolved in art.

- He has helped around nine hundred soldiers and they are now leading a normal life. When they save a soldier, Richard thinks Luke saved someone's life.

We have heard the bravery of innumerable soldiers protecting the country by staying at the border, their bravery stories, stories of victory and defeat and many life stories of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country, but when many soldiers retire from the army after showing bravery on the war front, how to face the problems after their retirement. We are not at all aware of what happens. A glimpse of this can be found from the life of Richard Casper, a retired American marine. He was born in a small village in Bashwar, Illinois. The population of the village is barely twelve hundred. Richard's father had no formal education and his educated mother had to work in a factory all her life to support the household. Richard's three older siblings went to prison. Richard Kasper was brought up in such a family environment.

When Richard was studying in high school, terrorists attacked the Twin Towers of America. All of America was stunned. It had a profound effect on Richard, who was then a teenager. He thought of joining the army and fighting against the enemies. He started preparing in that direction and was also selected in the US Navy. Seeing his patriotism and dedication, the then President George W. Bush placed him on his security team. After 14 months of working in the security team, the appointment he had been waiting for and the dream he had been chasing since high school arrived. Richard Casper received orders to go to Iraq. Richard's wish was fulfilled. The atmosphere here was very tense and desperate and life was in danger, but Richard reached Iraq happy that his wish was fulfilled. During one of the expeditions, his special friend Luke Yepsen died. Someone shot him from behind. He was devastated by Luke's death. He did not understand what happened and how it happened? But it was a reality that his best friend left him. The unfortunate thing was that there was no time to mourn or cry, because the next day the campaign was to be continued and that too as if nothing had happened! Richard, who has survived so far, suffered a severe brain injury on the left side of his brain due to a bomb blast. On the one hand, he was deeply shocked by Luke's death. Friend Luke was not forgotten. On the other hand, the brain was injured. He returned home in 2007. This war changed his whole world. He wanted to study for his future career. Got admission in professional courses, but failed continuously. Richard's confusion grew. He used to have a certain IQ. is If he himself is intelligent, why does this happen?

In such a confused situation, he went to the hospital and met the doctors. Richard heard the sound of bombs going off. The doctor only told him that he was suffering from post-traumatic stress and other ailments and regretted that he would not be able to learn anything new. Hearing this, Richard, who was lost in thought, decided that he would not give up and let despair enter his life. He decided to give up his passion for commercial cars and learn an art. Dropped out of Heartland Community College and enrolled in the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Art had a magical effect. Slowly the war wounds began to heal. The mind began to recover. In an early project, he drew a picture of his dear friend Luke Yepsey's gravestone and chose red for the grass around it. His classmate said that he had seen his friend die so he chose the red color of the grass and expressed his inner anger. Richard found the words to express his feelings.

Days later Richard Kasper felt that the healing power of art should be extended to soldiers who, like himself, suffered from post-traumatic stress. In 2013, he founded an organization called 'Creativates' in Nashville, the capital of Tennessee, known for its music. The organization is working to relieve ex-servicemen from their pain through visual arts and other arts. Such a person comes to Nashville for three days. Expresses the pain in words and then records it with the help of famous singers and musicians. This entire process is free. For many soldiers writing and recording a song is their first experience. Richard is working to fill them with a new enthusiasm after being free from pain. Till date he has helped around nine hundred soldiers and they are now leading a normal life. When they save a soldier, Richard thinks Luke saved someone's life. Motivational speaker, songwriter, Next Generation Leader by Times Magazine and CNN. Honored by Richard takes art classes at several universities.

Life is found in the game

In October 2022, India Women's Under-17 team head coach Thomas Dennerby was overjoyed when Sudha Tirki was selected in the twenty one-man squad for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in October 2022.

The entire world was engulfed in FIFA World Cup fever for a month and finally Argentina won the thrilling football final match. In football, hockey, cricket or many other sports, many players get success through many hardships and tireless struggle in life. Sudha Ankita Tirkey is one such rising player of Indian football. e. S. Sudha was born on October 8, 2005 in Gumla district of Jharkhand. Father lived in Chitarpur village. When Sudha was young, she saw her father beat her mother a lot and mother put up with his beatings to take care of her two daughters, but one day Sudha's father kicked her mother Lalita and her younger sister out of the house. At this time Sudha was only five years old. Due to this incident, the villagers started taunting Lalita. On the one hand, the grief of being thrown out of the house by her husband, the responsibility of two daughters and on the other hand, tired of the bitterness of the villagers, Lalita started living in Danpur by renting a room.

Sudha's mother Lalita started working as a sweeper in a school to support the household. From its short income, as soon as two meals were finished, where can any other expenses be incurred? Sudha gradually grew up and understood. Seeing how the mother runs the house with a limited income, she would incorporate the wishes that arise in her mind. Even in such circumstances, the mother educated her daughters.

When Sudha was young, she used to watch boys playing football in the village. He loved to watch the football game. Gradually she also got interested in it and started playing football in the streets of the village. During her schooling she participated in football competitions and won many awards. He was fond of playing football, but he also thought that by playing football he could also help his mother. When Sudha started playing football, many criticized her, some encouraged her, but the important thing was that her mother supported her through all the difficulties. She stood by her side and advised Sudha to play with concentration. Well, then what else does Sudha need? He thought that if he plays football with proper focus, he will get prizes and praise from everyone!

Sudha, who started playing football at the age of twelve, did not know anything about football, let alone training. But some boys from his village encouraged him. Sometimes, if he could not attend the training class, they would call him and teach him. Sudha's mind began to see many dreams, but how did she know that she still had to struggle in life? She was the youngest in the team when she played in the Federation Cup in Kolhapur, Maharashtra in 2019. Suffered a head injury during the Federation Cup, but continued to play despite the injury and began to have success, but was worried by the lockdown during the Corona. Sudha, who is studying in the eleventh standard of St. Patrick's Inter College, Gumla, recalls those days and says that the biggest problem happened during the Corona period. Schools closed due to lockdown, mothers stopped working and football practice also stopped. Hardly a single meal was available for many days. So sometimes I had to go to bed hungry.

Sudha Tirki was selected for the India camp during the Junior National Football Championship in Kolhapur, but that camp was postponed due to Corona. The camp was held in April 2022 in Jamshedpur to select the squad for the Under-17 FIFA World Cup. This training camp lasted from April 23 to May 31, 2022. In which 33 players were selected. Then in October 2022, India Women's Under-17 team head coach Thomas Dennerby announced twenty-one players for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup, when Sudha Tirki was selected, her joy was beyond measure. Sudha entered the team without any systematic training. He thanks the Football Federation for going there and getting proper training. Learned about proper diet and learned about various equipment used in the game. He says, 'Football is not just a game for me, but it has given me a vision to live, freedom and the feeling that I can do whatever I want.' Sudha Tirki wants to fulfill all the wishes of her mother and sister by getting a job in the railways or the army, but her mother's advice is, 'Don't give up on your dreams. To live life to the fullest.'
