That learned lecturer was giving a lecture. The topic was the importance of understanding the pace of time for success. A young man was going to give an interview. So he met the lecturer in solitude. He asked the preacher: "Give me such a mantra that I may not fail."

The lecturer said: "If you are in a hurry, leave. People in a hurry are lazy. In haste, one spoils one's own fortune.

The young man got angry and rushed to the place to give an interview. There was no one present. Only the instruction was written. "Sheth's father has passed away. So today's interview is closed.

The young man was amused. He rushed to meet the lecturer. He said to the lecturer: "Laugh! Now I am free. The interview is closed today.

The lecturer said: “But I am not free. I have arranged other works. I neither rush nor procrastinate. Being hasty gives the impression that you lack confidence. You don't believe in yourself. Be patient and the art of time management will be acquired automatically. Haste creates many problems.”

The child is not in a hurry. Parents rush to see him grow up. Understanding time is also an art. Wasting time is also a crime. Mahatma Gandhi knew the importance of time very well. So even when a big leader came to meet him, he would postpone the matter for a while and follow his scheduled time of milking the goat. Completing scheduled tasks on time automatically wins half the ground of success. We can get back the lost position, position or position but not the lost time.

A man makes unnecessary haste in decision-making and gives opponents a chance to gain strength. Finally, a decision has to be made. Making hasty decisions increases the chances of making mistakes. Man has to take great pains and often sacrifice his own happiness to resolve adverse situations arising out of hasty actions or decisions taken. Recognizing the right moment and making the decision accordingly gives a man the opportunity to become powerful and invincible. As described in the 'Law of Power', the Sultan of Persia sentenced two men to death. One of the two prisoners knew what to say at the right time. He knew that the king was very fond of one of his horses. The first prisoner said that he would teach the horse to fly within a year if the king would pardon his punishment. The king will be the only lucky man in the world who will get the fame of riding a flying horse. After listening to the prisoner, the king agreed to suspend his sentence for one year.

The second prisoner heard this from the first prisoner and looked at him suspiciously and asked the question that you know that no horse can fly, yet how could you think such a crazy thing? By doing this you can postpone your death sentence for one year.'

The first prisoner said: In fact I have given my freedom four chances. The first thing is that the Sultan may die within a year. Another thing is that within a year I may also die. The third thing is that even a horse can die within a year and the fourth thing is that I might teach a horse to fly.

Life is the sum of tide oat. Those who delay in taking advantage of the tide can only sigh to see oat. A man has to keep 'Aatram' awake to take the necessary decision in time. Procrastinators lie with their heads in the lap of 'Self' instead of keeping 'Self' awake. And later regrets the missed opportunity. The last over is often very important in the game of cricket. A player cannot bat with full strength and confidence if he starts thinking about losing instead of winning.

A four or a six in the final opportunity itself turns the possibility of defeat into victory. An important opportunity for upliftment comes only once in a lifetime. If the opportunistic person remains indecisive in taking advantage of that opportunity with restraint, understanding and planning, the stake in the hand will fall. For success in life one has to be a 'maker' of destiny and a 'fighter' against adverse circumstances.

Experienced people advise that don't just play upside down, learn to play. Fear, fear, the thought of defeat saps half of a man's strength. A man should develop the resourcefulness of being aggressive when he is often weak and unable to do anything in the face of danger. The desire to shine in haste often overwhelms a man. In the lure of having their words make the headlines of a newspaper or news channel, many leaders or hawkers make irresponsible and fear-mongering statements and are therefore not honorable. But they become despicable. A man has to pay dearly for the desire to get praise cheaply.

The mind should be made a student of the school of positive outlook. The mind will be calm by looking at the incident only with the eyes of the incident. In 'Positive Thinking', Ramdev Sahoo narrates a motivational incident. An old farmer living in Sirohi village of Rajasthan had a rule that he did not comment on any incident. He used only one word: "Perhaps so."

Once his horse broke the rope and ran away into the forest. Neighbors came to the farmer and started expressing their regret. Someone was talking about damage, someone was blaming for not managing properly. After listening to Sahu, the farmer used to say: "Perhaps it is so." The people went away in silence.

After three days the horse came back with three wild mares. Seeing that, people started appreciating the fate of that farmer. After listening to everyone, the farmer said: "Perhaps it is so." Two days later, the farmer's young son, while trying to train a new mare from the forest, fell off the mare and broke his leg. The people of the village started to express their grief again. "Perhaps so," said the farmer in a familiar estimation.

Then the next day the king's soldiers came to the village. During those days that king was at war with the neighboring kingdom. Recruiting as soldiers was going on. When the soldiers reached the farmer's house, they saw the farmer's son's leg missing and left him. The people of the village again started praising the farmer's luck. The farmer said: "Perhaps so."

The habit of making hasty decisions by looking at events in life from a favorable and unfavorable point of view is disastrous. Sometimes there is a curse in a blessing and who knows the curse may turn out to be a blessing. Many calamities are automatically avoided by witnessing events. What are the five things that affect decision-making in a hurry or delay in life?

1. There is no mental stability in taking decisions in a hurry, so there is a possibility of making mistakes. Delaying the decision reduces the chance of a yes. Man should act wisely.

2. Mental health should be maintained instead of getting distracted by believing that what is going to happen is bound to happen. Sometimes being completely inactive at the time of the event will spoil the fire.

3.Events which appear to be beneficial at first sight may actually be harmful. So delay is necessary to take a decision with understanding and resourcefulness.

4. Giving hasty opinions may lead to regret.

5. We cannot bring back the time that has passed, so it is imperative to take the right decision at the right time.
